About Reddit Auto Post Search & AI Comments
Reddit Auto Post Search & AI Comments is a browser extension designed to help users discover relevant Reddit discussions, monitor selected subreddits, and prepare AI-assisted replies from a convenient sidebar.
The extension offers two main modes. You can manually search Reddit by keyword across communities, or monitor the latest posts from a custom list of selected subreddits. Optional automatic refresh can periodically check those communities for new content while the browser is running.
For each post, the extension displays useful information such as the subreddit, title, content preview, post age, and number of comments. When you want to reply, you can generate a short AI-assisted comment using your own OpenRouter API key. The reply can be reviewed and edited before posting.
The extension also includes subreddit discovery tools, allowing you to search for communities by keyword and add them to your monitored list.

How It Works
Choose between Search All Reddit or Monitor Subreddits.
For manual search, enter a keyword and search across Reddit to find relevant posts.
For monitoring, select the subreddits you want to follow and load their latest posts. You can optionally enable automatic refresh.
Open a result to read the post, or click Generate AI to create a suggested reply using OpenRouter.
Review or edit the generated comment, then use Open & Paste to open the Reddit thread and prepare the reply in the comment editor. The final submission remains under your control.

Can I search outside my selected subreddits?
Yes. Search All Reddit performs a manual keyword search across Reddit independently of your monitored subreddit list.
Does the extension refresh automatically?
Automatic refresh is optional and disabled by default. You can enable it and choose an interval in Settings.
Does the AI read the post content?
Yes. When generating a reply, the extension uses the post title and available post text to create a more relevant response.
Where is my OpenRouter API key stored?
It is stored in the browser's extension storage and used to authenticate AI requests you initiate.
What is included in PRO?
PRO increases limits such as the number of monitored subreddits, refresh frequency, posts per subreddit, and global search results.
